Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (iOS) to join our product-based company in the Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in software engineering design and architecture principles with proven expertise in building advanced iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C. This role involves end-to-end ownership of development from design and coding to testing and deployment while also mentoring team members and setting best engineering practices. You will work on impactful healthcare solutions that improve patient care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop test and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Work across the full stack integrating with backend APIs to ensure seamless functionality of the product suite.
- Champion a culture of ownership and customer-focused execution delivering high-quality code and excellent end-user experiences.
- Participate in system architecture discussions design sessions sprint planning demos and retrospectives within an Agile Scrum framework.
- Conduct peer reviews mentor junior developers and establish best engineering practices.
- Collaborate with product managers QA teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.
- Work with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications for enhanced mobile application performance.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning and assist in driving technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize applications for performance security and scalability.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in software engineering software design and architecture principles.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Team leadership experience: mentoring code reviewing and driving innovation.
- Familiarity with iOS frameworks such as Core Animation Core Data Core Graphics Core Text and UIKit.
- Hands-on experience with XCTest XCUITest AVFoundation RxSwift Tuist Cloud.
- Proficiency in development tools like AppCode CodeRunner and Xcode.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Experience working with cloud message APIs push notifications and backend API integration.
- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology.
Good to Have
- Experience in roadmap planning and guiding teams on design decisions.
- Wider exposure to modern mobile development tools and practices.
- A passion for learning teaching and mentoring engineers on a growth trajectory.
- Previous experience in the Healthcare domain will be an added advantage.
