The Maintenance Technician II - Project Coordinator plays a dual role in supporting the preventative maintenance and repairs while assisting with the coordination and implementation of small-to-mid-scale facility improvement projects. They also assist the Maintenance Engineers with more complex and demanding projects with an emphasis on safety and shadowing for long-term professional development.
Qualified candidates will have but not limited to:
- Minimum of 2 years in a mechanical technical or electrical field with an emphasis on the following:
- Maintenance in a safe working environment;
- Consistent and successful maintenance repair and troubleshooting of downed equipment.
- Prior experience or familiarity with preventative maintenance software. Minimum of 1 years experience with the following:
- Experience working in construction environments or interfacing directly with General Contractor(s) and various trades sub-contractors;
- Examples of effective utilization of project management tools or tracking systems or tools (MS Project FMX Asana Basecamp or similar);
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and talents in a professional work environment;
- Experience working collaboratively in both small and large teams/departments/projects.
- Examples of effective customer service skills and abilities that demonstrate the ability to interact engage and communicate with people of various professions and technical abilities.
- Ability to support and track multiple maintenance and facilities projects simultaneously balancing hands-on work with project documentation and scheduling
- Basic knowledge of project budgeting and cost tracking with the ability to obtain vendor quotes and monitor project expenses within established budgets
The Maintenance Technician II - Project Coordinator has an hourly pay of $26.97 and is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:
