Retail Sales Assistant Store Manager

Our client is a busy Retail Clothing brand in Ireland with vacancies in there Dublin store in The Square Tallaght.

Salary Range: 30000-32000 based on experience.

The role will involve assisting the Store Manager with the following:

  • Supervise train and assist employees in customer service store maintenance and product promotions.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centred on holiday sales and other cycles.
  • Seek ways to better promote the store the product line and service within the store.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels ensure stocking implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
  • Implement cross-training of employees and Assistant Managers to maintain productivity at all times.
  • Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
  • Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
  • Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Good knowledge of the company and the brand they are applying for.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail sales operation.
  • Passion for fashion market competitors and trend awareness.
  • Knows how to drive sales and can provide examples.
  • Has led a stable and consistent career.
  • Evidence of leadership skills.
