Job Description
The post holder will:
- be responsible for the co-ordination of the Healthy Living Child and Adolescent Complex Obesity Service to meet the needs of children young people and their families
- contribute to strategic and operational team decision making to ensure the consistent delivery and continued development of high quality outcome driven patient care in CHI at Temple Street
- play a key role in the development of cross city relationships cross site integration of the service and integration with primary and secondary care services
- develop a strong working relationship with the clinical administrative research and operations teams within CHI
- develop mutually beneficial relationships with other service co-ordinators working in CHI.
- manage the operational issues related to the day to day service delivery
- establish a risk management framework
- evaluate service performance in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team through audit and research
- represent the service as required
Essential Criteria:
- Must have a relevant clinical professional qualification and be registered with the relevant professional board
- Must have a minimum of five years post qualification experience working in clinical paediatrics
- Must have a minimum of three years experience working in a service delivering child and adolescent obesity care including knowledge of clinical processes and patient administration systems
- Must have experience of delivering quality improvement in a healthcare environment
- Must have advanced ICT skills
