Job Summary
Looking to hire a Top Secret Cleared - Java Developer - preferably someone with 10 years experience. Looking for extensive experience in Java JavaScript TypeScript and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a passion for building scalable secure and high-performance systems. This role requires a strong understanding of backend architecture API development cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
This position is fully On-Site in Arlington VA
Day to Day
- Design develop and maintain robust backend systems and microservices
- Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for high performance and scalability
- Implement efficient database models and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with front-end engineers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Apply best DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines containerization and infrastructure as code
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize system performance and reliability
- Ensure application security and compliance with best practices
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance - preferably with an SCI or SCI Suitability
- 5 years of professional back-end development experience.
- Ability to integrate open source into web applications - API Development experience
- Strong proficiency with Java JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strongly Desire proficient experience with Cloud Environments for Web Services and Virtualization
- Proven experience with frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot or NestJS.
- Expertise in DevOps tools and practices (Docker Kubernetes Jenkins/GitHub Actions Terraform etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile collaborative environments.
