Job Summary
The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for running a busy 3PL warehouse overseeing inbound and outbound logistics and ensuring all client orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational expertise the ability to manage teams effectively and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The right candidate will have proven experience in warehouse and logistics management deep knowledge of 3PL operations and a track record of improving performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping receiving and inventory management.
- Manage and train warehouse staff ensuring accountability and high performance.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for multiple clients.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with leadership and clients to meet service-level expectations.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing a 3PL warehouse or similar high-volume operation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
