The Senior Experimental Machinist Perform highly skilled precision work in the design development machining fabrication assembly and testing of a wide variety of scientific instruments and experimental equipment. Interact with scientists engineers and students as required by supervisor on issues related to these tasks. Collaborate with a team of co-workers in a state-of-the- art facility. Requires: Vocational/technical training excellent knowledge of Computer Numeric Control (CNC) and conventional machining techniques CNC programming in Mastercam and a plus if knows SolidWorks for design tooling equipment and machining standards and a five to eight years of experience minimum.
