Job Description
Voyago is hiring a Part-Time Charter/School Bus Drivers in Grey Bruce!
We are seeking a reliable and professional Charter Driver to join our this role you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on a variety of charter trips ensuring they have a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. You will serve as the face of our company providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Your role:
- Safely operate buses and transport passengers on scheduled charter trips and school routes
- Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding exiting and throughout the journey
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and operational standards
- Fueling the bus and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the maintenance team
- Provide excellent customer service responding to passenger needs and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow all traffic laws company policies and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate logs trip reports and any required documentation
Requirements
Your profile
- You are safety focused
- You hold a full Ontario G class licence (preference will be given to those with an upgraded licence)
- You are 21 years of age or over
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search and vulnerable sector screening
- You have a sound knowledge of the region and surrounding areas
- You have the physical ability to bend twist and secure wheelchairs on accessible buses ability to lift passenger luggage into bus storage compartments
- You are comfortable driving on all highways in all weather and road conditions
- You have the ability to work independently
- You have flexible availability and can work days evenings weekends and holidays
- You have intermediate to advanced verbal and written language skills (equivalent to B2 to C1 levels)

Hourly Rate:
Pay Rates
- Charter routes: $21.65/hour
