Job Description

About the Opportunity
As a Cook you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef.
Working Hours:
10:30am - 5:30pm & 6:30am - 2pm
Week 1 Wednesday to Sunday
Week 2 Thursday to Sunday
Duties include but not limited to:
- Taking direction from the Chef
- Ensure delicious well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents
- Assist with general food preparation kitchen duties and stock control
- Purchase and order stock and equipment
- Ensuring all food is prepared cooked and served in accordance with legislation
About You
To be successful youll need:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcare
- Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
- Experience with texture modified food advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and co-workers
- Current COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)
