The Engineering Technician role at the Monticello IN will be working primarily on machinery and troubleshooting on production lines working collaboratively in an innovative team orientated environment. This is a 1st shift opportunity on-site position; schedule hours are M-F 7:00 am-3:00 pm. Excellent pay & benefits climate-controlled facility and so much more!
Role Responsibilities:
- Work independently under limited supervision (self management)
- Oversee installation and verification of equipment upgrades
- Assist maintenance/production with breakdowns
- Testing Operations and Non-Standard Order (NSO) support
- Data collection to support root cause analysis
- Communication to Engineering Team Team Leaders and Operators
- Work directly with outside contractors on assigned projects
- Documentation of all finding/work performed for clean handoff shift-to-shift
- Perform Housekeeping to Clean and Inspection
- Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Labelers / Printers / PLCs / VFDs / Servos in troubleshooting
- Experience with Basic Electrical / Mechanical / Pneumatic / Hydraulic Systems
- Repair and troubleshoot from schematics and component parts manuals
- 3 years of Manufacturing Operator Experience
- A combination of education and experience generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience.

- Lean / Six Sigma Training
- Operations and/or Quality Control Experience
- Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environment.
- Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
- Work in a team environment toward a common goal.
- React to changes productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
Hourly Pay Range: $34.21 per hour with a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
