Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Grant Accountant. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of grant accounting including grant administration proposal support and budget tracking. The Senior Grant Accountant will also support the monthly close process and assist with financial statement preparation to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee grant administration including compliance monitoring and financial reporting requirements.
- Support proposal development with financial budgets cost analyses and supporting documentation.
- Track budgets expenses and funding to ensure proper allocation and timely reporting.
- Perform month-end reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and other reporting needs.
- Partner with program managers and leadership to provide financial insights on grant activity.
- Support annual audit requirements as they relate to grant funding.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required.
- 4 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in grant or fund accounting preferred.
- Strong understanding of grant administration and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
