Summary
Were looking for a hands-on skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing operation running at its best. If youre experienced with diesel engines hydraulic systems and facility maintenance and you enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced environment this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on daily operations.
Youll handle everything from equipment repairs to facility upkeep and preventative maintenance ensuring production never skips a beat.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair diesel-powered manufacturing equipment hydraulic systems and facility infrastructure
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to avoid downtime
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical hydraulic and diesel-related issues
- Replace repair or calibrate components to keep equipment at peak performance
- Conduct general facility maintenance including lighting HVAC support minor plumbing painting and basic building repairs
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work and repairs
- Use hand tools diagnostic equipment and measuring instruments safely and effectively
- Interpret manuals schematics blueprints and layouts to guide maintenance tasks
- Support continuous improvement by identifying potential equipment or facility upgrades
- Follow all safety protocols and assist in training junior maintenance team members
- Be available for Saturday work as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- 3 years of experience in diesel engines hydraulics and facility maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and facility systems
- Ability to read technical documents diagrams and schematics
- Familiar with safety practices in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. climb ladders and work in tight or elevated spaces
- Must complete and pass all ATMI Safety Training Programs (Lock-Out Tag-Out Working from Heights Confined Space Forklift Operation Manlift Operation)
- Ability to complete crane inspections
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Skills
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Basic electrical or PLC troubleshooting knowledge
- Certifications in diesel hydraulic HVAC or facility maintenance
