COST ACCOUNTANT

REYNOSA PLANT

As a Cost Accountant you will be responsible to preparation of unit costs through tracking and controlling purchase orders as well as labor and overhead rates. Reconciliation and control of inventories and cost of sales. Recording and controlling inventory and scrap adjustments.

Your tasks will be:

  • Provide accurate complete and in timely manner contribution margin analysis for company products by part number program and Customer.
  • Update Standard Cost in SAP
  • BOM auditor
  • Ensure financial costing month end fulfillment.
  • Purchase price variance.
  • Freight costing analysis.
  • Scrap review to determine root causes and provide recommendations.
  • PPR (product margin)
  • Annual Direct labor rate calculations & deviations to the actual cost analysis.
  • Annual Budget process. Assist to the controller in the financial planning budget for the full year period.
  • Costing allocations.
  • Annual cost roll up calculations.

Simi-Annual Physical inventory variance accuracy analysis

To be successfull in this role you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in general accounting/Finance
  • Requires 3 years of Finance Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skill in computer software Office. Excellent skills in excel
  • Strong knowledge in SAP
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient with data analysis critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • English advanced
