Role Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join Thomson Digital globally recognized for its technology-driven solutions in digital content processing for the publishing industry.
As part of the QA team you will ensure quality-first principles are followed across the software development lifecycle. The role involves creating and executing test cases defect tracking and contributing to test planning sessions while working in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and execute functional test cases.
- Log and track defects to closure.
- Conduct and witness tests/demonstrations as required.
- Define implement and maintain QA methodologies and processes aligned with organizational standards.
- Ensure performance and scalability are part of all testing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Drive adoption of test automation tools and best practices across the product lifecycle.
- Manage test schedules regression suites and bug tracking efficiently.
- Build update and improve run books for handling recurring or anticipated issues.
- Develop and present QA metrics to demonstrate quality outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
- 35 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- / B.E. in Computer Science or related field.
- STLC or equivalent certification (mandatory).
- Experience in SaaS customer support (B2C & B2B products).
- Strong hands-on experience with test management and QA tools.
- Proven ability to compile and maintain comprehensive test libraries and regression suites.
- Track record of delivering high-quality products within deadlines.
- Strong communication analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
