Job Description

Service Manager (Community) Belfast & Downpatrick

Location: Belfast & SEHSCT (Downpatrick)

Hours: 30 hours per week (15 hours Belfast 15 hours Downpatrick)

Starting Salary: 31604 pro rata for part-time.

Duration: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2026.

Closing date: 12noon Thursday 16th October 2025

As Service Manager you will ensure the quality-of-service delivery and provision daily to meet the needs and expectations of service users carers stakeholders and the organisation itself. You will be responsible for line management of the staff based in the service as well as day to day running of the service in relation to maintaining quality standards administration service-related financial management liaison with Statutory Agencies and regulatory bodies.

You will actively represent the values of passion respect empathy and openness and transparency setting and reinforcing the standard for positive behaviours at all levels.

The MindWise Competency Framework outlines the behaviours that are essential to effective performance. The Competencies relevant to this role are set out for everyone and in Level 2 of the Framework for this post.

What we ask for from you:

  • QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • You must also have at least two years practice experience in a mental health setting.
  • Must have at least two years experience of managing a service including managing a staff team.
  • One years experience of managing a Community Based Service.
  • NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role.
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWises core values of Passion Respect Empathy Togetherness Openness & Transparency.
