Graduate Software Automation Engineer

Join HPs SWQA Automation Team and be a key player in building next-generation automation architecture. We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer with experience in AI-driven code generation and a strong foundation in software engineering with the best this role you will design develop and deploy scalable reusable and maintainable automation solutions that not only enhance our development processes but also leverage AI to accelerate test code generation and reduce human error.
Key Responsibilities
- Framework Familiarization & Development
Collaborate with the automation team to deeply understand and evolve our automation frameworks using tools like Selenium Robot Framework Azure Pipelines Ansible Postman Playwright... Stay ahead of the curve by continuously exploring new technologies and methodologies. - AI Architecture & Intelligent Code Generation
Design and integrate AI-driven architecture to enable the automated generation of test scripts CI/CD configurations and infrastructure code. Evaluate and implement AI/ML tools (e.g. LLMs Copilot CodeWhisperer MCP Agents) to augment developer productivity. - Automation Solution Design & Deployment
Create automation solutions for software development and IT operations ensuring they meet reliability scalability and maintainability standards. - Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Continuously monitor the performance of automation systems collect data-driven insights and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness. - Troubleshooting & Documentation
Analyze issues in automation pipelines implement fixes and maintain detailed documentation to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing. - Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with software developers DevOps teams QA engineers and project stakeholders to ensure that automation aligns with business and technical objectives. - Programming & Scripting
Utilize your experience with Python and JavaScript (or other relevant languages) to contribute directly to the automation codebase and AI integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with AI/ML tools and APIs for code generation (e.g. OpenAI Codex GitHub Copilot LangChain).
- Proven experience in automation frameworks and DevOps tools.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
