Position Requirements Education Training and Experience
- Must be enrolled in a Criminal Justice Criminology Social Work or related field program by an approved partnered college or university for the proposed internship.
- Have already completed the first year in an Associates degree program (i.e. 30 credits); or Completed the second year in a Bachelors degree program (i.e. 30 credits); or Currently be pursuing a Masters degree.
- Be able to commit to a minimum of eight hours a week.
- Be able to provide proof of health insurance coverage by the time the internship starts.
- Be a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Be a current student of good academic standing with a minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA).
NOTE: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check/investigation.
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid drivers license or state-issued identification card.
Document(s) Required at Time of Application
- Proof of endorsement/enrollment for internship.
- College transcript(s) from an approved partnered college or university.
- Birth certificate U.S. Passport Certificate of Naturalization Certificate of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card.
- Current health insurance card.
- Copy of a valid drivers license or state-issued identification card.
- Copy of Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) report if applicable.
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
