The ENRICHSARCOMA Biotech Booster team at the Netherlands Cancer Institute is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic technician with a strong commitment to science and solid expertise in cell culture and mouse models of cancer. Experience with radiobiological assays is a plus. ENRICHSARCOMA aims to develop a new way to make sarcoma tumors more sensitive to radiotherapy delivering sufficient preclinical evidence to warrant the start of clinical testing of our lead compound MITX-101.
In this position you will:
Use colony formation assays;
Apply flow cytometry;
Work with subcutaneous sarcoma mouse models;
Conduct CT-guided radiotherapy.

A Bachelors degree in laboratory sciences experimental animal sciences or related field
A relevant Dutch Animal Experimental License (Article 13f2/6b/9/12)
Good experimentalist highly self-motivated and capable of independent thinking
Excellent social and communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
You can work independently as well as in collaboration with others in an international team
Fluent in English
Your development opportunities and employment conditions
The basis for your employment conditions is in accordance with the CLA Hospitals. You will receive from us:
A temporary contract for a period of two years for 36 hours per week
A gross monthly salary between 3.102- and 4.177- based on a 36-hour working week in line with FWG45 and depending on your experience;
144 holiday hours and 57 hours of Personal Life Budget with full-time employment;
Annual holiday pay of 8.33% and a fixed end-of-year bonus of 8.33%;
A travel allowance of 0.23 per km;
Free parking at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. And with our bicycle plan and discount on public transport we also make it attractive for you to leave the car at home;
