thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our team in Kennesaw GA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in purchasing and supply chain management who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quote and support sales contracts
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders
• Manage standard inventory items using ERP systems
• Schedule materials to meet inventory objectives
• Review and process return purchase orders
• Enter credits and debits upon request
• Maintain knowledge of supply base including cost lead time and capabilities
• Build and maintain supplier relationships
• Align purchasing activities with corporate objectives (ROCE sales operations)
• Understand and utilize the Purchasing System for contracts and scheduling agreements
• Evaluate risk and alternatives for contractual agreements
• Maintain general understanding of internal processing equipment
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers
• Meet all TKMNA employee attributes and competencies

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
• General understanding of company policies and accurate recordkeeping
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

• 2 years of purchasing experience
