The Johns Hopkins HospitalMeyer 3 Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and Psychiatric Emergency Departmentis a high-intensity 22-bed unit that provides care to adults with a wide range of psychiatric disorders including schizophrenia bipolar disorder severe mental illnesses and addictions. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in inpatient and emergency psychiatric settings with most patients admitted through the dedicated psychiatry emergency department.

In this position youll begin training within the inpatient unit building your expertise before cross-training to the psychiatric emergency department. Here youll deliver rapid evaluation assessment and treatment for a diverse population. Youll also play a vital role in supporting patients recovery journeys connecting those with addictions to specialized programs and ensuring continuity of care for general psychiatric patients through community referrals. Additionally youll lead therapeutic groups guiding patients toward stability and wellness. This is a dynamic role for someone passionate about making a difference in the field of mental health.
