YOUR DAY
As our Director of Cosmetology you will oversee the full spectrum of our cosmetology operations for our day and night school ensuring every detail supports our mission of excellence. Youll manage everything from budgets and employee records to inspections and compliance mentoring your team through effective training performance evaluations and strategic hiring. Collaborating closely with our management youll explore new business opportunities uphold our high standards of regulation and create an environment that inspires both staff and future beauty professionals. Your day will be dynamic engaging and instrumental in shaping our facilitys success.
THE HOURS
This full-time role features flexible 8- to 10-hour workdays. Flexibility is key as youll also accommodate night school inspections with our beauty education classes ending at 10:00 pm.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- High school degree and some college education
- Experience working at a private school or beauty school
- Leadership or management experience
- Proficiency with computers email Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to analyze data create goals forecast outcomes and track ROIs
- Ability to multitask and maintain a clean environment
- Strong business finance and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional team-building skills
- Organization skills with a high attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Time management skills
- Great leadership skills with a positive attitude
- Eagerness to learn more and accept feedback
A bachelors degree or a license from one of our programs is preferred.
