Are you passionate about sustainability data analysis and making a real impact Join our team and help us build a smarter greener future by supporting a global initiative to improve energy efficiency across our facilities!

The Challenge:
Vanderlande has a network of Energy & Environmental Champions who have collected a wealth of data on facility technologies like lighting heating waste management and more and mapped out where the biggest opportunities for energy savings lie.

But were facing a few key challenges:

  • Each location has collected and structured data differently making it hard to compare or combine.
  • We lack a unified corporate-level view of energy efficiency potential: bringing everything together will require time smart thinking and analytical skills.

Department description

In Vanderlande we have a dedicated team that drives the sustainability transformation in our company. You will be part of this Corporate Sustainability Team and work closely together with stakeholders from other departments like Compliance Officers Strategic Program Managers Facilities Managers and the supply chain. You will get the opportunity to gain experience with all departments that are involved. You will be challenged to address your project in a structured and self-starting way and bring your knowledge into practice.

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Dive into the data: Analyze and align energy and energy efficiency from facilities around the world.
  • Spot the stars: Identify best practices and highlight gaps in energy efficiency efforts.
  • Build the big picture: Create a centralized way to visualize and quantify each locations contribution to corporate energy goals.
  • Create a roadmap: Develop a global plan to boost energy efficiency including estimates of effort impact (energy and CO₂ reduction) and cost.

Your profile

  • You have affinity with data analysis management environmental management.
  • You are a self-starter and have a pro-active attitude
  • *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
