Hospital Coding Technician Hybrid

At IQVIA we are looking for aHospital Coding Management Technician responsible for ensuring that patient clinical information is accurately coded organized and utilized for administrative financial and strategic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination and management of clinical coding projects using ICD-10 across various hospital centers we collaborate with ensuring compliance with quality standards and established deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in ICD-10 coding processes for medical records promoting standardization and efficiency in healthcare documentation.
• Conduct systematic audits of coding processes to ensure accuracy consistency and compliance with current regulations.
• Perform clinical episode coding using the International Classification of Diseases 10th Revision (ICD-10) applied to various healthcare settings such as inpatient care major outpatient surgery (MOS) day hospitals emergency services outpatient consultations among others.
• Prepare analytical reports and detailed statistics based on coded data to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other professionals and departments fostering a multidisciplinary and results-oriented work environment.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with clients to become their preferred partner in the coding area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree as aSpecialist Technician in Health Documentation with proven experience of more than three years using the ICD-10-ES classification.
• Strong technical skills and project management capabilities with the ability to lead teams and initiatives effectively.
• Presentation skills for client-facing scenarios including project results and commercial proposals.
• Critical thinking for process improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and health sciences.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies applied to the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in IT tools especially Microsoft Office at an advanced level.
• Experience with various coding tools currently available in the market will be positively valued.
• Catalan and English are required
