Job Description

Work Hours: Day Shift 8:30am-5:00pm/ Full Time (40 hours)
Work Location: Saint Petersburg FL
Position Summary:
- TheMedical Transcriptionistperforms transcription functions word processing communication and clerical functions effectively and accurately assures that the departments needs are met in a timely strong communication skills high attention to detail and can be relied upon for dependable and consistent work output.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- A minimum of a High School diploma GED Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
Experience:
- 2 years experience as a medical or general secretary or clerk
- Proficient in medical terminology transcription of recorded dictation and computerized word and data processing
- Ability to understand and react effectively to the age-specific needs unique to patients
- Demonstrate attention to detail and efficiency; possess problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Possess proficiency in Windows Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Ability to perform computer work for extended periods of time

Salary Range: Minimum 17.70/hour - Maximum 28.32/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
