POSITION: U.S. House Campaigns Research Associate
LOCATION: Washington DC
AB PAC a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions is hiring a Research Associate to join our U.S. House Campaigns research team for the 2026 cycle. This position is based in our Washington DC office.
Primary responsibilities include:
Working as part of a team to produce comprehensive opposition research products on Republican candidates in competitive House of Representatives races across the country;
Collecting information from public sources including legislative votes news clips campaign finance reports financial and legal records and research databases;
Reporting results and findings to senior staff;
Performing rapid response research projects in key electoral races;
Other duties as needed.
Skills and qualifications required:
Passionate about House elections
Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines a must
Strong commitment to teamwork
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Self-motivation the ability to work independently
Experience with primary source documents and research databases such as LexisNexis is preferred.
Previous political research experience is preferred.
