Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design develop and deploy Elastic Stack solutions (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana Beats) in support of DoD applications and operations.
- Implement maintain and optimize real-time data ingestion pipelines using Kafka and other streaming technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate containerized solutions in secure mission-critical environments.
- Monitor troubleshoot and enhance system performance ensuring adherence to DoD security protocols and best practices.
- Participate in technical planning architecture design and system documentation to support long-term operational goals.
- Provide expert guidance on the deployment and scaling of Elastic Stack solutions across multiple environments.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance (required).
- Extensive experience deploying and managing Elastic Stack technologies in DoD or federal environments.
- Strong proficiency with Apache Kafka containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python Java or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with DoD security standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with advanced Elastic Stack features (machine learning alerting and monitoring).
- Prior exposure to cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud Azure Government) in secure DoD deployments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles threat detection and secure software development practices.
