Description

Fyda Freightliner is looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to join our dynamic Service team at our West Jefferson Ohio location. The Service Foreman will exercise direct supervision of Service personnel.

To qualify for this position a candidate must possess outstanding people skills including managing motivating and building a team to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

Oversee and guide technicians offering support and training as needed
Assign work monitor progress and ensure timely completion of work orders
Foster a collaborative team environment
Assist in writing and closing repair orders when jobs are completed.
Maintains the high quality of work that our customers have come to expect.

Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
Use company technology to preform the above tasks when necessary
Maintain customer relationships.
Work in a team-oriented environment.
Use a wide variety of repair technical manuals/computer programs to access information relative to the assigned duties and apply this information to the service and preventative maintenance functions.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements:

1-5 years of service/fleet maintenance experience and previous service skills are preferred but not required.
Ability to provide customer service and long-term relationship building.
Excellent communication skills.
Commercial drivers license or willingness to obtain a CDL is a must.
Ability to demonstrate leadership skills
Experience with computer diagnostic tools
Ability to learn and use company technology/programs effectively and efficiently.
Ability to prioritize multiple demands of a dealership service department
Maintain professional appearance representing our company.
