Job Description:
Daniels Health is a well-established company whose vision is to Make Healthcare Safer through the reduction of needle-stick injuries and cross-contamination throughout healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for transporting medical waste from Winnipeg to Shakopee one to two times per week.
- Competently performs pre-trips inspections with the intent of identifying and communicating minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor and also completed daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile phone.
- Ensuring materials are properly packaged and are in accordance with the packaging slip prior to trip .
- Accurately records information on packaging slip and manifest ensuring compliance with TDO Regulations.
- Complies with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 3 years long haul driving experience
- Working 25-50 hours/week depending on the waste.
- **some weekend runs
- **Must have Class 1 licence with air
- **Must have F.A.S.T Card to bring medical waste to US
- Must be available to drive from Winnipeg to Shakopee MN one to two times per week.
- Must have CVOR and Drivers Abstract (dated within last 30 days)
- Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements such as reference check background check pre-employment medical test and drivers road test or equivalent.
- Ability and knowledge to safely load and properly block brace and secure materials.
- Ability to drive the vehicle safely in accordance with all traffic regulations
$26 - $27 an hour
