Remote: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta Austin Detroit Warren Milford or Mountain View you are expected to report to that location three times a week at minimum.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented curious and highly motivatedConversational AI Designerto join ourVoiceAIteam. The ideal candidate will breathe design and have expertise in Voice/Conversationalinterfaces. You will joinateamof expertsworking on end-to-endmultimodalcustomer experiencedrivinginnovationin the rapidly evolving and expanding high-tech world of AI through user-centric practices and will have an incredible opportunity to be our customers advocate and develop an inspiring vision anddesign execution.

In this role youwillcollaborate with other designers researchers technologists andproductstakeholders to crafteffective and exceptionalexperiences through data-drivendesign.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop AI-based conversationaland multimodalexperiences advocatingusabilityand user-centered design principles.

  • Developand promote conversation design best practice standards reusableinteractionalpatterns and processes.

  • Deliver effective design documentationto communicateexperiencerequirements includingsample dialogsconversational flow diagramsprototypesandmultimodalflows toconveyvoice and haptic interactions and design ideas that leverage AI.

  • Contribute to requirements gathering sessions and user stories.

  • Support usability testingand researchefforts by creatingprototypesparticipating inclinic sessions analyzing brainstorming ideating etc.

  • Build strong relationshipswith internal stakeholders to understand priorities collaborate on actions to implement product and service solutions and ensure a connected end-to-end user experience.

  • Identify track and monitor industry/experience trends and drivers of customerneeds andsatisfaction.

  • Support prototyping efforts based on user insight and technical explorations.

  • Visualize experiences using storyboards customer journeys user flowslow-fidelity wireframesand voiceprototypes toillustrate visionand influenceimpactful experiencesinAI

  • Balance user needs technical constraints andproductobjectives to solve problemseffectivelycrafting world-classmultimodaluser experiences.

Requirements:

  • 5 years creatingconversational design experiences.

  • Ability to combine vision with strong creative design execution.

  • Strong portfolio with work samplesshowcasingexpertise craft aesthetics and depth of thought.

  • Someexperience designing for Generative or AgentiveAI-powered experiences (prompt engineering/prompt chaining)

  • Understandingof machine learning & natural language processing (NLP) fundamentals.

  • Excellent time management; flexible and adaptable team player;resourceful in delivering high-quality work.

  • Experience incorporating research into the design process.

  • Abilityto work independently be organized self-motivated and have attention to detail

  • Excellentwritten visual and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in common design tools().

  • Demonstrated experiencedocumentingforvoice-onlyvoice-forwardand multi-modalexperiences

  • Demonstrated experience creatinginteractiveprototypesfor multimodalexperiences(voice sound visuals touch chatetc)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understandingand leveraging Generative AI forConversational Experiences foundational elements of Conversation Designand LLMs.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience (verbal and written).

  • Ability to workeffectively within an environment that leverages robust design systems and libraries while seeking to delight and impress users with innovative concepts and experiences.

  • Superb communication skills:You can communicate broad concepts as well as fine detail through written and graphical media. You can convey design solutions through sketches and visualizations as well as through prose.

  • A quick study:Youcanunderstand systems and processes both in software and in the real world. You will be required to digest and understand the many complex factors that govern vehicle design from social and peer norms to a multinational regulatory environment. You will be able to successfully navigate those factors as you create design solutions.

  • Outstanding collaboration skills:You are an effortless ideas from anysource andare prepared to build on them to make the work of your team successful.

  • Comfort with ambiguity: You are comfortable working in a space where problems and solutions are not well defined. You can cope with change shift gears comfortably and can decide and act without having the total picture.

  • Attention to detail: You have strong organization skills and the ability toefficientlydocumentend-to-end experiences that arethorough andcomplete including detailed accounts of edge-case and errorscenarios.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York Colorado California or Washington.

  • The salary range for this role is 143000 - 180000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance job level and individual performance.
