General Manager Dunedin Medicine Womens & Childrens Health

  • Permanent 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) opportunity
  • Salary band: $ 177191 - $221489 per annum pro-rata and KiwiSaver

Are you a dynamic leader ready to make a real impact in healthcare Were looking for a General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for a vital health service area. Working closely with clinical leaders like Medical Directors Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health teams youll ensure seamless collaboration to deliver safe efficient and high-quality care across the district.

In this role youll oversee the delivery of modern health and disability services managing resources wisely while empowering your teams to make decisions close to the point of care. Your leadership will drive innovative strategies and operational excellence; all focused on improving patient outcomes and service efficiency.

Youre a qualified and experienced leader whos passionate about making a difference in health services. With a strong background in senior managementideally within healthcareyou bring proven skills in patient safety performance management and growing high-performing teams.

You understand the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and know how to put its principles into meaningful action. Building strong positive relationships across diverse teams and sectors comes naturally to you and you excel at balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day operational demands.

You approach challenges with clarity and integrity making thoughtful decisions that benefit patients and the organisation alike. Adaptable discreet and committed you take personal accountability seriously and continuously invest in your own growth and wellbeing.
