Chapman Collision Centers Tucson Speedway location is looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team! The Auto Body Technician assesses the extent of damages and repairs or replaces parts to restore customer vehicles topre-accident condition. Core Responsibilities:
- Disassemble damaged vehicles and determine if damaged components can be repaired or need to be replaced.
- Repair damaged vehicles using appropriate tools technologies and I-CAR procedures to restore vehicles to pre-accident state factory specifications and customer satisfaction.
- Perform all body and fender repairs utilizing welding body alignment and structural operations.
- Keep the Estimator updated throughout the repair process informing them of any parts needed delays etc. so they may keep the customer informed.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of auto body repair experience is required.
- Experience disassembling repairing and rebuilding all makes and models of vehicles.
- I-Car and welding certifications are a plus!
- Must own your own tools.
- Detail-oriented thorough and precise workmanship.
- Good work ethic self-starting and motivated to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated ability to perform well in a high-volume shop.
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
Hours will be Monday Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm. Our technicians enjoy a clean indoor air-conditioned shop.
