Maritime Advisory Americas is a unit within a global DNV Maritime Advisory organization providing technical support to the global Maritime and Offshore industry helping clients achieve profitable and sustainable results. Our team in Americas offers technical and transaction advisory services focusing on all ship segments such as cruise gas carriers tankers and bulk carriers as well as port infrastructure.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you ready to become a trusted advisor driving the cruise industrys green and safe transformation from the heart of Miami

Are you student in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering or a related field graduating in 2026 We are looking for an enthusiastic junior Consultant to join our Maritime Advisory unit in Miami.

What Youll Do:

The work tasks will depend on experience levels but will include;

  • Contributing to deliver projects to our customers
  • Deliver projects across environmental safety and risk domains

  • Advise on emission reduction strategies alternative fuels andregulatory compliance

  • Manage projects and collaborate with our advisory teams in Europe (Norway and Germany)
  • Visit clients and participate in discussions of their business challenges
  • Help develop tools and services for DNV Maritime Advisory

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who is both technically competent and commercially savvy with the confidence to engage directly with clients and the curiosity to grow in a dynamic environment.

What is required:

  • Bachelors degree in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering or similar
  • Strong analytical and communication skills including report writing and presentations
  • A proactive service-minded and collaborative mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or in teams
  • Travel approx. 20% (domestic and/or international)
  • Fluent English communication skills both written and spoken
