Medical Secretary Southern Blood & Cancer Service

About the Role
This role provides medical secretarial/transcription services and administrative support for the Southern Blood & Cancer Service. You will also ensure that patient information is quickly available to the clinical teams involved in the patients care. And be efficient in time and resource for the department.
Our ideal candidate will be available Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Exact working hours will be discussed and negotiated with the successful candidate.

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people and tasks often all at the same time!
To enjoy the Medical Secretary position youll be the kind of person who likes a fast paced and varied work environment. As youll be dealing with patient information it is essential that you show us you have an eye for accuracy and are confident around computer systems. This position carries a varied workload that requires you to work with different specialties and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines is vital.
Our ideal candidate will be both customer and patient focused. You will be liaising with other hospitals specialists and health providers to get the best outcome for patients and accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
