Job Purpose
The MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operation) Clerk is responsible for the purchasing of parts equipment supplies and other indirect materials to support Maintenance Engineering and addition this position will also manage the storeroom and support the maintenance work order system and monthly maintenance budget reporting.
Location: Warsaw IN
Key Responsibilities
- Issues tracks and expediates purchase orders required for maintenance engineering and operations.
- Reconciles purchase orders receiving and inventory discrepancies.
- Works with the vendors and the AP department to ensure receipts and payments are processed accurately.
- Manages and maintains MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operation) inventory levels. Performs inventory reviews and cycle counts.
- Ensures that spare parts are made available for each Technician for each work order (Preventative and Corrective).
- Follows and enforces storeroom best practices to optimize spare part inventory.
- Fulfills parts reservations (kitting parts) for upcoming planned work.
- Conducts daily housekeeping procedures in the storeroom and maintains areas to 5S standard.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports for repair and maintenance expense spending updates as needed.
- Create work instructions procedures and document job process flows as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing environment
- SAP experience is strongly preferred
- Analytical reasoning and problem solving skills
- Must have intermediate computer skills for data tabulation analysis and report preparation (Excel)
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization effectively and precisely
- Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
- Must be very strong in accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
