Job Description

Summer Semester 2026 limited to 36 months

YOUR TASKS:

  • Support the optical and mechanical product development of 2D & 3D vision sensors including camera systems barcode readers and connectivity devices

  • Focus on one of the topic areas according to your interests and strengths

  • Set up measurement systems and program related process controls using MATLAB or Arduino

  • Conduct tests evaluate tolerances and create documentation

  • Analyze results and visualizations with MATLAB

  • Design and document precision engineering assemblies and components

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You are studying Optics & Photonics Mechatronics Physics Microsystems Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree program

  • Ideally you bring knowledge in one or more of the following areas: MATLAB Arduino tools for optical thermal or structural simulations or CAD

  • You work independently with a solution-oriented mindset

  • You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team

  • Strong communication skills and a spirit of innovation round off your profile
