Job Summary
Summer Semester 2026 limited to 36 months
YOUR TASKS:
Support the optical and mechanical product development of 2D & 3D vision sensors including camera systems barcode readers and connectivity devices
Focus on one of the topic areas according to your interests and strengths
Set up measurement systems and program related process controls using MATLAB or Arduino
Conduct tests evaluate tolerances and create documentation
Analyze results and visualizations with MATLAB
Design and document precision engineering assemblies and components
YOUR PROFILE:
You are studying Optics & Photonics Mechatronics Physics Microsystems Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree program
Ideally you bring knowledge in one or more of the following areas: MATLAB Arduino tools for optical thermal or structural simulations or CAD
You work independently with a solution-oriented mindset
You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
Strong communication skills and a spirit of innovation round off your profile
