Location: Wood Glen Court an Assisted Living senior community

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr.

Shifts Rotation: 4 on 2 off 1st & 2nd Shift Available

PRN all shifts

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help residents with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing grooming toileting transferring and dining while encouraging independence and respect.
  • Serve meals in the dining room or residents apartments assist in meal preparation and promote proper nutrition and hydration respecting residents right to free choice.
  • Participate in and initiate leisure activities encouraging residents to socialize and form friendships.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records documenting leisure activities incidents observations and changes in residents conditions.
  • Ensure a clean safe and orderly environment by performing general housekeeping duties.
  • Follow proper procedures during emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
  • Keep track of residents locations remind them to sign out when leaving and promptly report if a resident cannot be located.
  • Promote teamwork through positive interactions with co-workers.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance cleanliness and personal hygiene.
  • Attend all required in-service training sessions.
  • Be an active member of the communitys emergency response team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Current CNA certification.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience preferably with seniors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills good judgment and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
