The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems in the Sanders College of Business and Technology at the University of North Alabama invites applications for three tenure-track faculty positions beginning in August 2026 in one of the following disciplines: Computer Information Systems Computer Science and/or Information Technology. All undergraduate programs are ABET accredited. The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled.
Responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate teaching on-campus and online course delivery academic advising accreditation and assessment scholarly research and university service. Involvement in professional organizations and engagement with the professional business community and the computing industry are encouraged.
An earneddoctorate in Information Systems Computer Science or Information Technology is required. ABDs will be considered if all degree requirements are met prior to appointment.

Official transcripts must be sent directly to HR from the issuing school via email or postal mail to be considered official. Transcripts with a designation of Issued to Student or with the student name listed as the recipient will not be considered official. Official transcripts will be required of the successful candidate prior to the start date of the appointment but unofficial copies will be accepted for the application process.
