Per Diem Nursing Opportunity in Staten Island NY Registered Nurses (RNs)

$58- $62 per hour!

REQUIREMENTS OF THE RN POSITION:

Required Qualifications:

  • One years recent experience as a RN in the specified specialty area
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • Background screening as required by the state or contract.
  • Drug screening as required by the contract.
  • The RN should be able to read medical equipment and documents. Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job.
  • Registered Nurses must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down the stairs; position patients; walk long distances; andstand for prolonged periods.
  • CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
  • Critical thinking service excellence and good interpersAonal communication skills
  • Must be able to cope with contact with the general public customers and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • PALS or ENPC
  • RCES/RCIS Certification
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
  • Provides general care services including assessment analysis planning implementation and evaluation.
  • Assess healthcare needs of patients through a variety of routine assessments and develops implements and evaluates individualized nursing and health care plans accordingly.
  • Perform health screenings of patients or clients.
  • Respond to emergency healthcare needs of patients.
  • Collect and record data specific to the health status of patients or clients.
  • Administer medications/treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.
  • Maintains confidentiality related to patient family client facility and staff in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Complies with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice as set forth by the American Nurses Association or equivalent nursing organization.
  • Provides patient care in a non-judgmental non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy rights and dignity are preserved.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
  • Provide immediate post-procedure care monitoring complications and ensuring stable recovery

  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols infection control guidelines and regulatory standards
