Therole
ReportingtotheQualityManagertheQualityControlTechnicianisresponsibleforsupportingRMAmanagementinspectionsupplierqualityprocesses andcross-functionalqualityinitiatives.ThispositionensurescompliancewithISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015standardsandplaysacriticalrole insafeguardingproductreliabilityandcustomersatisfaction.Thisrolewillbebasedon-site in Wood dale IL.
Inthisrole atypicaldaywilllooklike:
ManagingincomingandoutgoingRMA (ReturnMaterialAuthorization)itemscoordinatingwithsuppliersandprocessingtransactions.
SupportingMaterialReviewBoard(MRB)operationsincludingmaintaininginventoryandrecords.
Performinginspectionsonincomingin-process andfield-returneditems.
Troubleshootingandreworkingproductsasneeded.
Updatingsupplierdatabasesfollowinguponqualityissues andmaintainingthescrapand KPIdatabases.
CollaboratingwithEngineeringOperationsCustomerService andothercross-functionalteamstoresolvequalityissues.
SupportingauditsandensuringcompliancewithISO andVeraltoQualityManagementSystems.
Theessentialrequirementsofthejobinclude:
Associatesdegree(orequivalenttechnicaltraining)with3yearsofexperienceinqualitymanufacturingorrelatedfields.
FamiliaritywithISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015standards.
Abilitytoreadblueprintsandspecificationsand usemeasurementtools.
Experiencewithinspection(incomingin-process final) andtroubleshooting.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office;knowledgeofERPsystemspreferred.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $21.00 - $24.00 USD per job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus commission benefits or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Companys sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion consistent with the law.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs such as:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Work -PowerPoint)
Ability to produce clear structured documents reports and presentations.
Experience with Oracle System is a plus.
Candidates should be Posses the following Qualities:
Attention to details is a must - Ability to follow directions carefully - Ability to work quickly and accurately - Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Knowledge Skills Requirements:
- Associate degree in quality or equivalent work experience (Technical degree preferred)
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing Quality support.
- 2 years of experience in Quality Control or similar role (preferred)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints with strong attention to detail.
- Skill in operating inspection and laboratory equipment (e.g. Micrometers Calipers Indicators Multimeters)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis and quality improvement.
- Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds during inspections or production support.
