About Mercor
Mercor is training models that predict how well someone will perform on a job better than a human can. We use our platform to source vet and onboard expert contractors who help train AI models in a wide variety of domains. Our technology is so effective its used by all of the top 5 AI labs.
We scaled from $1-500M in revenue run rate in the last 17 months making us the fastest growing company in the world. Our growth is accelerating. We averaged 11% week over week growth in July 18% WoW growth in August and 19% WoW growth in September. The team is small and we remain profitable because we cant hire great people as quickly as revenue is growing.
About the Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer at Mercor youll build and scale the systems that power our rapid growth. Youll ensure our infrastructure is highly available cost-effective and able to handle explosive traffic and compute demands. Youll work closely with engineers across product research and operations to design scalable architectures streamline deployments and improve observability.

What Youll Work On
Designing and maintaining core infrastructure across cloud environments.
Building Infrastructure-as-Code workflows to automate deployments and scaling.
Improving monitoring logging and alerting systems to maintain reliability.
Managing CI/CD pipelines (Github Spacelift) to ensure seamless deployments.
Supporting disaster recovery planning and ensuring high availability of systems.
Partnering with product and research teams to design architectures that scale with workload demands.
Identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks in compute storage and networking.
What Were Looking For
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform).
Deep experience with containers and orchestration (Docker).
Solid understanding of distributed architectures.
Programming languages (Python Go).
Proven ability to ship reliable infrastructure in production environments.
