Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Responsibilities

Inspection maintenance and gauging of environmental groundwater wells
Ensure work is completed in a safe and compliant manner with respect to applicable OSHA GHD and client standards
Generatequality field notes and enter collected field data electronically to database programs
Perform site housekeeping inspections with attention to detail in GHDs operational area
Operations and maintenance troubleshooting oversight and repairs of remedial equipment including groundwater recovery wells groundwater treatment unit and all associated physical and mechanical components
Operate groundwater treatment systems including pumps filters and chemical dosing equipment to ensure optimal performance
Maintain accurate records of system operations and maintenance activities
Provide health and safety/construction oversight of contractors
Work directly with clients and contractors
Conduct vegetation maintenance using heavy equipment (i.e. tractor with bushhog attachment) and weed eating
Health Safety and Environment: Follow the organizations health safety and environment (HSE) policies procedures and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate risks and to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Ability to perform field work
Ability to communicate across diverse occupational roles
Commitment to safety applying a behavior-based safety culture in all aspects of the job
Strong mechanical electrical and computer proficiency
Physically capable of working in non-ideal conditions such as hot/cold temperatures wet weather outside and around loud equipment and traversing rough terrains
Ability to be a self-starter proactive flexible great teammate willing and able to work on a wide variety of tasks with minimal direction
Ability to analyze field readings data and operating parameters to optimize system operations

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

0-3 years of previous industrial work experience
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER is a plus
Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Experienced operator of heavy equipment is a plus
