About Socratix AI
Socratix AI builds AI coworkers for fraud and risk teamsagents that investigate alerts in real time and replace manual workflows with fast explainable decisions. Our agents integrate seamlessly into existing workflows and reason across signals like human analysts helping teams cut fraud losses reduce false positives and scale operations without increasing headcount.
Since launch weve seen strong market traction closing multiple six-figure contracts. Now were growing quickly to keep pace with demand and are excited to expand our founding team in the San Francisco Bay Area. Who We Are
Weve seen this problem firsthand. At DoorDash Riya built intelligent fraud detection and investigation tools that saved the company $30M annually and at Unit21 she created products that enabled analysts to work 3 faster. At Cruise Satya scaled AI systems to handle petabytes of data and at LinkedIn he launched enterprise products from 0 1 generating millions in new revenue.
Together we bring deep expertise in fraud and AI (MIT IIT UCLA alumni). Were backed by Y Combinator Pear VC and founders/operators from DoorDash Gusto Square OpenAI and Roblox.

About the Role
As one of our first engineers youll shape the technical foundation of Socratix AI. Youll design and ship production-grade AI agents collaborate directly with founders on product strategy and partner with both large enterprises and cutting-edge startups.
This is a high-impact role with massive scope for growth you wont just be building features youll be defining how AI transforms financial operations.

Design and deliver production-grade AI agents.
Work directly with founders on roadmap and strategy.
Collaborate with enterprise and startup partners to deliver impact.
Drive execution in a high-ownership high-leverage role.
Learn firsthand what it takes to build a rocket-ship startup.
What Were Looking For
Must-haves:
24 years of software engineering experience (CS degree or equivalent background).
Strong backend development skills with Python FastAPI.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and API design.
A 0 1 builder mindset comfortable creating from scratch.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
Nice-to-haves (but not required):
Startup experience leading significant projects.
AI expertise: LangChain RAG embeddings multi-agent systems fine-tuning.
