Job Summary of the Welder:We are looking to hire a Full-Time experienced Welder who can read blueprints.1stshift opportunity.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Welder:- Operate various pieces of equipment including hand plasma saws brake press and deburring equipment.
- Weld quality parts set by blueprint specificationsusing jigs when availablewhile meeting production standard times.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Be safe in all operations of the job.
Education & Experience Requirements of the Welder:- Requires a High School degree or GED.
- 1 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Must be able to lay out parts and fabricate as needed.
- Requires anon-site weld test prior to placement. (Mig)
- Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions decimals and angles.
- Must be able to utilize various measurement tools including but not limited to square angle square calipers and tape measure (to 1/32).
- Use of wrenches air tools hand-held grinders overhead cranes steel handling and lifting skills.
- Forklift experience or ability to train on the operation of a forklift.
