Do you have a strong accounting background enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced environment Pierre Landscape is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee key financial functions support leadership with timely and accurate reporting and help drive process improvements.

What Youll Do
Oversee and review Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll and General Ledger functions
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate financial records
Manage construction billing contract compliance and collections
Ensure timely and accurate Certified Payroll submissions and union reporting
Oversee weekly payroll processing and compliance with prevailing wage requirements
Support budget preparation forecasting and job cost analysis
Partner with leadership on process improvements and system enhancements
Assist with year-end audit preparation and external reporting requirements
What Were Looking For
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Sage and Exaktime experience strongly preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Construction industry accounting experience a strong plus
Experience
5 years of progressive accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
Payroll Certified Payroll and Union reporting knowledge preferred
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required
CPA or pursuit of CPA license a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75000 $85000 (based on experience)
Benefits: Medical Dental Vision 401(k) with 4% company match Paid Vacation Sick Leave Holidays
Schedule: Full-time MondayFriday 7:00am4:00pm (in-office)
