We are currently looking for a Field Quality Assurance Intern to join our team in Smyrna TN. The position will be a full-time role for the summer of 2026.
A Day in the Life:
- Identify and investigate engineering issues potentially impacting safety and/or regulatory compliance by analyzing cross functional data sources with Product Safety Technical Compliance and Field Quality Investigations.
- Investigate incidents with data analysis part collection and testing or vehicle-level incident investigation (on-site or scramble to customer location).
- Support handover of complete investigations to the Vital Issues team for TM/TC process
- Report investigation status weekly to FQA management.
- Regular collaboration with cross functional groups for issue investigation including but not limited to R&D FQI PQE NML CQ0 and CC0.
Who Were Looking for:
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in automotive Chemical Electrical Industrial Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
- Strong organizationability withkeen attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
- Up to 20% local travel
- Ability to perform work onsite at Field Quality Center Smyrna TN.
