Job Summary

Handyman Residential Maintenance & Repairs Location: Various Residential Properties (Primarily in MA)

Respond promptly to service requests and resident work orders
Diagnose and repair minor electrical plumbing and carpentry issues
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce long-term costs
Prepare vacant units for new tenants (painting cleaning repairs)

Grounds & Common Area Upkeep

Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and amenities
Perform exterior tasks like trash pickup and ice prevention
Inspect and maintain parking lots walkways lighting and signage

Safety & Compliance

Conduct regular property inspections for hazards and code compliance
Test and maintain fire alarms and safety equipment
Ensure adherence to OSHA and building codes
Secure vacant units and equipment

Emergency Response

Address urgent issues such as leaks lockouts power outages and HVAC failures

Collaboration & Recordkeeping

Coordinate with property managers and vendors for larger repairs
Maintain records of work completed inventory and equipment servicing
Track supply needs and ensure cost-effective use of materials

Customer Service

Interact professionally with residents and staff
Provide updates on repair timelines and ensure a positive living environment
