Purpose of the job

NXP Semiconductors currently has an opening for a New Graduate Test Engineer in the High Precision Analog team in Catania. The candidate will be joining an experienced test team to design and develop test solutions for characterization and production. He will be responsible for test coverage in order to guarantee the product specifications to customer/market.

Job Responsibilities

As Test Engineer the candidate is responsible for the Design & Development of the Industrial Test Solution enabling testing of high volume production in the Industrial Environment.

During the definition of a new product works in a multidisciplinary team writing the Test Strategy and Plan that suits product cost and quality requirements. works closely together with IC design developing Test Methods that comply to Design For Testability and Manufacturability.

is responsible for designing the interfacing electronics and writing the Tester Software to enable testing in mass production using Automatic Test Equipment such as Advantest V93K.

works together with the Test Engineering Team in US and Asia to develop and introduce the Industrial Test Solution at the production site supported by the required Electrical Test documentation.

Profile

Master degree in Electronic Engineering or other technical engineering discipline
Good attitude to work in a multicultural environment
Good communication and reporting skills in English
Proactivity initiative-taking and problem solving propension
