About the Role:
A comprehensive school in Bedford rated Good by Ofsted is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their committed department. You will teach English Language and Literature across KS3KS5 fostering a love of reading and writing while ensuring excellent academic outcomes.
The successful candidate will also support enrichment activities such as debating societies creative writing workshops and theatre productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3KS5.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Contribute to enrichment activities such as debating writing clubs and drama.
- Monitor and track student progress providing effective feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development.

About You:
- A degree in English or related subject.
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching at KS5 desirable.
