Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan prepare and deliver lessons tailored to the needs of Year 1 students.
Implement engaging teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
Monitor and assess student progress providing regular feedback and guidance.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.
Participate in staff meetings professional development and school activities as required.
Year 1 Teacher Requirements
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Year 1 students in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Dedication to ongoing professional development and current educational practices.
Flexibility and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
