You work with high-level corporate clients on their messaging to help them reach their communication objectives.
What youll be doing
Your time will be shared between driving pitches and producing content.
In the RFP phase:
- Lead exciting new and existing client pitches with energy and clarity of thought
- Come up with overarching creative concepts alongside our Creative Directors for the team to budget and visualize
- Be responsible for pulling the red thread through creative proposals and develop ideas which bring the concept to life throughout the lifecycle of the event
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategic Planning Creative Production Logistics Technical) to deliver exceptional experiences that align with industry trends and meet the needs of our customers
- Dissect briefs and challenge clients positively in the Q&A phase to get to the crux of the matter and help decide what will make us win
- Collaborate with the Key Account Director or New Business Director to develop comprehensive pitch budgets as part of the go/no-go process
- Meticulously plan the pitch development to ensure colleagues get involved at the right time with clear roles & responsibilities and timed deliverables
- Orchestrate kick-off meetings and internal briefings to develop winning RFP approaches
- Ensure seamless proposal development that achieves client satisfaction and business objectives
- Ensure feasibility and viability with the implementation team
- Lead the egg proposition and be the guardian of the overall event brand experience
- Write and own the overall proposal (or assign responsibilities to write it)
- Be on the lookout for continuous improvement ideas to stand out in the market
- Present the egg response to the client with the appropriate team and ensure a smooth hand-over to the implementation team
In the Production phase
- Help clients shape their agenda
- Create captivating and creative teambuilding and content sessions
- Create innovative and creative ways to develop client messaging and dynamise sessions
- Develop concepts for evening celebrations gifting
- Design pre and post communication campaigns
- Supporting speakers with message development
Must haves
(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)
- An experienced professional with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the event industry
- Solid experience in event management and strategic communication in an agency
- Extensive experience of pitching
- A creative spirit always on the look out for the latest innovations in events communications and societal trends
- An excellent presenter with experience communicating with and presenting to executive stakeholders customers and partners
- Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Data-driven budget-conscious commercial creative problem solver
- Process and methodology oriented
- Copywriting storytelling and editing skills experience (English)
- Excellent passionate presenter
- Be an advocate for ESG creative solutions
- Excel under pressure
- Fluency in spoken and written English (No scrambled oeufs at egg svp.)
Nice to haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including powerpoint
- Fluency in French and/or German
- Experience in event marketing
- Scriptwriting
- Speaker coaching
